How long should my story submission be?

It can be however long or short it needs to be to tell your story. Stories can be as short as a couple hundred words or as long as a couple thousand. Write your story how you want to be and as representative of you as possible. ​

What is the goal of the book?

To shine light and document the history of the LGBTQ+ community at Notre Dame and the wide tapestry of LGBTQ+ experiences.

What should the focus of the story be?

The focus should be on your story and your experiences. It doesn't have to focus on your identities it is totally your experience at Notre Dame; the activities, the people, the classes, etc... It is probably a good idea to include some stuff about the way your identity interacts with your Notre Dame experience (if it did at all!)

If i talk about other people am I allowed to use their name?

Yes, however, we ask that you get their permission before. If you can't get permisson we ask that your change their names and make a note of it.
